eufy Indoor Cam S350 Review
The eufy Indoor Cam S350 is our editor's pick for one indoor camera that has to cover a room. The second lens and local storage are why. Skip it if you only need a doorway.
Bestindoorcam.com may earn a commission if you buy through a store link. That does not change which camera we prefer. Read how affiliate links and ads work and how we review.
The eufy Indoor Cam S350 is the indoor camera we would plug in when a single room is the whole problem. eufy describes a 4K wide camera and a 2K telephoto on a pan-and-tilt base, with tracking and a microSD card so a subscription is not the memory. That combination is why it sits at the top of our 2026 shortlist. It is also why we refuse to call it the best camera for every room. A doorway does not need a second lens. A HomeKit house does not get HomeKit from this model.
You are paying for the telephoto and the motor. Use them. Put the camera where it can spin, not in a niche that blocks the arc, and try the close view on the far side of the room before you decide the wide lens was enough. If you never pinch in, you bought a very good pan camera at a price the Tapo C225 undercuts.
Wifi is part of the review. eufy lists dual-band support. If your apartment's 2.4 GHz band is crowded, that is a practical reason to step up from a 2.4-only Tapo, separate from the picture. If the router is next to the camera, it is not.
We would not buy the S350 and Nest Aware. If you want Google's app, buy a Nest Cam and accept the plan, which is the S350 versus Nest argument. One serious camera, one app.
S350 at a glance
| Item | What eufy describes |
|---|---|
| Lenses | 4K wide and 2K telephoto |
| Movement | Pan and tilt with tracking |
| Power | Plug-in |
| Storage | microSD, HomeBase optional |
| Smart home | eufy app, not HomeKit Secure Video |
Street price swings with sales. Judge it against a Tapo C225, not against a made-up list price.
Who should buy it
Buy the S350 if one camera is going to watch a living room, a playroom, or a large bedroom and you want to look closer without a blurry crop. Buy it if you have decided a monthly plan is not how you want video stored. Skip it if the subject is a door ten feet away. A Wyze Cam v4 does that job. Skip it if you need Apple HomeKit. The S350 is not that story. The Aqara G3 is.
The comparison that matters before you pay is C225 versus S350. If the C225's shutter and price solve the room, take the saving.
What we are not claiming
We have not run a lab chart on this camera. The 4K and 2K figures are eufy's. Tracking quality depends on your light, your wifi, and whether a curtain fools the detection. Dual-band Wi-Fi is a real advantage in a noisy apartment, and it is also on eufy's sheet rather than a measurement we took.
A HomeBase is optional. Do not let a bundle inflate the price unless you want the hub's storage. The camera's own card is the product we are recommending.

Questions people ask before they buy
Does the S350 work without a subscription?
Yes. Record to the card. Cloud and a HomeBase are optional.
Is the zoom optical?
eufy markets 8x hybrid zoom from the dual-lens design. It is not the same phrase as Reolink's 3x optical zoom on the E1 Zoom. The second lens is still the point, and it is more useful than a digital pinch on a single 2K camera.
Can it sit in a nursery?
It can, if you want the telephoto on a far crib. We still lean toward the C225 when a physical shutter is the priority. Read the nursery guide.
