Affiliate Disclosure

Bestindoorcam.com publishes indoor camera reviews so you can choose a camera. We also need the site to earn its keep. This page says how, in plain language.

Affiliate links

Some links point to retailers, including Amazon search results for the camera we are discussing. If you buy through a link, we may earn a commission. You do not pay extra because of that. The commission does not decide the verdict. We will recommend a camera with no link, or a cheaper camera, when it fits the room better.

Add your own Amazon Associates tag in the studio settings when you have one. Until then, the links are ordinary search links with no tracking tag.

Advertising

We plan to show Google AdSense units in labeled slots: above the fold only when a real unit exists, inside long articles, and in the sidebar. Slots stay empty until a real ad unit is pasted in the studio. We do not draw fake ads. We do not ask you to click an ad.

No paid verdicts

A brand does not buy an editor's pick. If we ever run a sponsored story, the page will say sponsored at the top, and it will not be mixed into a review that pretends to be independent.

Specs can be wrong

Manufacturers revise models without changing the name much. A "2K" camera in one year may not be the same box the next year. Our pages name the model we mean and tell you to confirm the listing. That is a limit of a spec-based review, and we would rather you see it than discover it after checkout.
