eufy Indoor Cam S350 vs Google Nest Cam

We prefer the eufy S350 when you want the picture and local storage. We prefer the Nest Cam when the house already runs on Google Home and you will pay Nest Aware.

eufy Indoor Cam S350 vs Google Nest Cam

Bestindoorcam.com may earn a commission if you buy through a store link. That does not change which camera we prefer. Read how affiliate links and ads work and how we review.

The eufy Indoor Cam S350 is the camera we prefer as a camera. It pans, it has a second lens, and it records locally. The Google Nest Cam is the camera we prefer as a Google Home device, and only if Nest Aware is a bill you have already accepted or are willing to. If you want both the Google app and the S350's picture, you will pay twice in attention even if you only buy one. Choose.

A fixed Nest Cam can still be the right object on a single door inside a Google house. It should not be the camera you buy to cover a playroom from a corner and then crop. That is the S350's job, and it is why this matchup exists.

Check the Nest listing's resolution the week you buy. The S350's 4K wide lens is not ambiguous. The Nest name has been used for more than one sensor.

Picture versus the app you already trust

We prefer the S350 for the camera itself. Two lenses, a pan base, a card, no Nest Aware. We prefer the Nest Cam for the household that already says "show me the kitchen" to a Google speaker and wants the answer in that same app, with routines and, if they pay, familiar faces. Those are different preferences and only one of them should win in a given home. The Google Home guide is the Nest side without the eufy argument.

The S350 will not become a Nest Cam through a skill. You may get a limited live view. You will not get Google's event descriptions. Buy it knowing the app changes.

The fixed Nest in a big room

A fixed Nest Cam needs a good angle on day one. A living room with two doors often embarrasses it. That is another vote for the S350, separate from price. If your Nest is aimed at a single entry and the Google app is the point, the fixed view is not a flaw.

Where to check the current price

Street prices move with sales. These links search a major retailer for the model named in this review. Confirm the exact model number on the listing before you pay.

Questions people ask before they buy

Can I use both?

You can, and you will have two apps. Do it only if the Nest is there for a Google doorbell system and the S350 is there for a room Nest cannot pan through. Do not do it because a review listed both.

Which is more private?

The S350's card keeps video in the camera unless you turn cloud on. Nest video lives in Google's account by design. Pick the one that matches who you trust with the clips, not a slogan.

Is the S350 harder to install?

Both plug in. The S350 needs a shelf with room to spin. The Nest needs an angle you can accept forever. Neither needs Ethernet.
